The library groups fields by what they collect.
- Contact: name, email, phone, company, website, address. These validate their format, so a mistyped address is caught before submission.
- Text: short text for a line, long text for a paragraph, and number.
- Time: date and time.
- Choice: dropdown, single choice, multiple choice, yes/no, and ranking (people put the options in order by dragging, or with the arrow buttons).
- Rating: stars out of five, an opinion scale, or a matrix (rows of statements, each answered on the same columns, such as Poor to Great).
- Upload: a file, a signature (they draw it with a finger, mouse or pen, and type their full name beside it), or a voice recording they make in the browser.
- Smart: a hidden field, filled from the link (Pro).
Options
Choice fields hold a list of options you edit in place. Press Enter to add the next one. A dropdown with more than about eight options is easier to fill in than a long list of radio buttons.
Help text
Every field takes optional help text below the question. Use it for the thing people always ask about, such as the format of a reference number, or what you mean by "budget".
